Sandra Wai Bing Young

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Wai Bing Young announces her passing on February 26th, 2025. Over the last 14 months, Sandra had an uphill battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sandra was 63 years old at the time of her passing. She is survived by her husband, Andrew, her children, Alisa and Bryan (Katrina), and her grandson, Liam. Sandra was the daughter of Yuck Khai and Suzanne Lam, who each passed away in 1979 and 2016, respectively. Sandra is also survived by her three siblings, Winnie, Oscar (Annie), and Tom.

Sandra was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to her family and community. She was known for her generosity, compassion, strength, and unwavering kindness - her legacy of love and care will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A memorial mass will occur Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 6:30pm at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church, 5771 Granville Ave, Richmond, BC.
