

Shui Lin passed away peacefully in Vancouver at the age of 91. She is survived by her children: Gwendie (Peter), Miranda (Daniel), Andrea (Peter), Wendy (Mansing), Jeffery (Michelle), and Mabel (Floyd); her grandchildren Mandy (Matthew), Justin (Theresa), Tracy (Wes), Brendan, Vanessa, Keith, Jason and Jonathon; her great-grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, Hudson, Kennedy, Connor, and Christopher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Yue Ling Fung.
She was born in Qingyuan, China, and moved to Hong Kong as a child. She married to Yue Ling in 1951. Together, they owned and ran 'The Sky Plastic Factory' for 20 years before migrating to Vancouver in 1979 to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her selflessness and dedication to others will always be remembered. The beautiful flowers garden and fish pond she created were a reflection of her boundless love for all living things, including all of her cherished dogs.
A funeral service is scheduled for 9:00 am on May 19th, Friday at Ocean View Chapel (4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, B.C.).
A graveside service will be from 11:00am to 11:45am at Heaven’s Gate, Ocean View Burial Park (4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, B.C.)
Funeral reception will be at 12:30pm at Lee Garden(利苑) 6401 Kingsway, Burnaby, B.C.
