It is with profound sadness that the family of Shung Bong announces his peaceful passing in Vancouver, BC, on July 5, 2025, at the age of 75.
A Life Well Lived
Born in Sun Wui (Xinhui), Guang Dong, China, Shung Bong immigrated to Canada as a young man and built a distinguished 30-year career as a trusted realtor in Vancouver. His warm smile and unwavering professionalism guided countless families to their new homes. Beyond his vocation, Shung Bong served the community he loved through more than two decades of volunteer leadership with the Lung Kong Tien Yee Association, where he was elected chairperson several times and mentored new generations in cultural stewardship and mutual aid.

Shung Bong’s legacy lives on through:

• His daughter-in-law — Momoko
• His grandchildren — Riku and Kai
• His siblings — Cesar, Betty, Sonia, Maritza, Gustavo, Fernando, and William, and their families
