She is now together with her husband, Maurice, who passed away in 2016. Nanay/Lola is survived by her sister Lourdes, brothers (Jose, Eduardo pre-deceased), younger sister Cely (pre-deceased) children: Carl (Eula), Celso (pre-deceased) (Elvie), Jojo (Isa), Evelyn (Alfredo), Henry (Imelda) and Ernie (Mel); 13 grandchildren: Chris G., Katherine, Elvin, Christine (Marvin), Chris (Renette), AJ (Trina), Sasha (Fabian), Jade (Maer), Daniel, Carlo (Sharlene), Danica, Jasmine and Kelsie, and 7 great grandchildren: Milan, Cairo, Mayan, Madrid, Rei, Kendrick and Amaury.
She was a wonderful, loving, and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend to many, young and old. She will be deeply missed and loved forever.
Silvina will be remembered for her gentle demeanour, and for being cheerful, patient and extremely selfless who put her family before herself. She was the ‘rock’ of the family, she tirelessly helped all her children and dedicated many years in helping raise the grand and great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor (right to the end), and always had a positive outlook in life which contributed to her long life. She was an inspiration to all of us. ( “ Your Lola is not sick – just getting old, but still beautiful !! ’)
She was also a respected and dedicated member of INC Church. She was dedicated to her faith and lead by example for being unselfish, compassionate, respectful, and just being kind to others.
Our family is profoundly grateful for all the support from many friends, the doctors, and nurses, nurse aides, volunteers at St Vincent Hospital, to our extended family for their unconditional love for Silvina/Bining.
You will be missed dearly, and you will be forever in our hearts!
