Soo Lan Chow departed her loving family peacefully on February 23, 2021.
She was born in Toishan, China on July 29, 1941.
Soo came to Canada in 1965 to marry her late husband, Sung Dit Chow, and started a new journey in life and had a family of their own.
She was mother to Nancy, Cynthia, Barbara, Anita, and George and raised her children with love and devotion in Vancouver, British Columbia with her late husband Sung Dit Chow.
Soo was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all five of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Soo, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
She is survived by her five children and spouses: Nancy and Fu Yan Ma, Cynthia and David Broad, Barbara and Michael Liang, Anita and Tony Marr, George and Amy Chow; and seven grandchildren: Allen, Cameron, Raquael, Ryan, Cole, Markus, and Scotia.
Soo Lan Chow will be dearly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
