

Tony, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 26th, 2016 at Vancouver General Hospital from complications of a liver transplant. He is predeceased by his father Carmine and leaves behind his mother Italia (John), wife Bonnie, daughter Lindsay, twin sister Rita (Eric), brother John (Cindy), nieces and nephews, as well as many family and close friends.
Tony grew up in Vancouver before moving to Tonasket, Washington. Tony was a popular student, becoming the starting defensive end on the football team although he had never before played the game. After high school, Tony returned to Vancouver working store security for the Army / Navy and London Drugs stores, traveling throughout Canada and the United States, eventually working up to the security manager. Later, Tony started his own business, Mosaic Hardwood Floors, where his disarming personality, salesmanship, and talent resulted in a successful business.
Tony loved music and taught himself how to play the guitar.
He fought a hard battle and will be lovingly remembered by many. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 1:00 pm in the Ocean View Funeral Home chapel, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby.
