Vittorio is survived by his wife, Nicolina; his daughter Mary Giampa (Doug) and his son Jim Barbieri (Laurie); and grandchildren Shauna (Darren), Mark and Ty.
Vittorio worked for the City of North Vancouver for 37 years and will be remembered as an avid gardener who loved walking in his neighbourhood, chatting with those he met along the way.
A funeral service for Vittorio will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 11:00 AM at Ocean View Burial Park's South Mausoleum.
