We are heart-broken on the unexpected death of our beloved Vladimir Cikes who died on vacation on the beautiful beach in Varadero, Cuba. Vlado was predeceased by his only sister, Ivana (b. 1941 d. 1944), his mother Andja, father Jerko and brother Ante. Lovingly remembered by his wife Adriana; son Ante (Catherine); children: Paul (Allison), Marisa (Chris), and Liza; grandchildren Olivia, Brooke, Kaitlyn, William and Isabella; brothers Pave (Anka) and Ivan (Klara); sister-in-law Danica, and many nephews, nieces and dear family and friends in Canada, Croatia and all over the world. Vlado was happiest when our home was filled with people, laughing, eating and drinking his homemade wine. He was overjoyed when his grandchildren filled our house with joyous, loving laughter. He was a very cherished and loved Dida. He will be forever in our hearts and sadly missed. Flowers gratefully declined, a donation to the charity of your choice preferred. Funeral Mass will be offered 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Church, 3105 E. 1st. Ave. Vancouver, BC on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
