Wong Wai-Leung (Bill) was born in Toi Shan, China in July 1942 to the parents of Wong Yuk Kuen and Mah Mei Yung. He passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on the morning of November 4th, 2015 at VGH and was surrounded by his family in his final hours. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Sau-yu; daughter Anne (Benedict), Sam, Joyce (Damian) and grandchildren Stephen and Kaitlyn Chen.
Bill Wong had a wonderful career, working for the Ministry of Highways for 32 years. After a short retirement, he went back to work in the private sector at Binnie for 10 years. He made many memorable friendships and significant accomplishments both personally and professionally.
A Visitation will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, British Columbia.
