Walter passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 63 years, Pauline, his 5 children, Larry (Marlene), Paul (Sue), Allen (Carol), Randy (Marsha), Laura-Lee (Lincoln) 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Walter cherished his family and friends and will be remembered for his big heart. He was a proud member of ILWU local 500. The family would like to thank the New Vista staff for their amazing care and kindness. Funeral mass will be celebrated December 16th at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Ave. Burnaby BC In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society of BC.
