William Joseph Salmon slipped away peacefully into the arms of our lord on December 28th, 2018. William was born in Vancouver February 24th, 1936. He was the son of Frank George Salmon and Jenny Hoyle Nelson. He was a partner in Salmon’s Transfer LTD. and Salmon’s Rentals. For a short time, he also worked at City Hall and Canada post. He will be greatly missed by his wife Joan and his sons Bill and Dan (Elizabeth). Predeceased by his children Barbara at birth and Bob in 2017. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Victor, Kim (Tony), Richard, and many family and friends. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and caregivers that looked after William. Evening prayers will be held at Saint Jude’s Parish 3078 Renfrew Street on Friday, January 25th at 7:00pm. Mass will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 1:00pm. Internment at 2:30pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, with reception to follow at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
