Irene Lee, 100, living in Richmond, B.C, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025 surrounded by family.
She was born in Shanghai, China. daughter of Mr. Li, Hua Xian and Mrs. Xu, Rui Kun. She was married to Ma, Chun Daniel (son of Mr. Ma, ZeHong and Mrs. Cheng, Mei ) and became a mother of three.
She is also Stepmother of two, step grandmother of four and step great grandmother of six.
Irene was a loving great grandmother of one and grandmother of four. She was a hard worker who integrated well into the community when immigrating to Canada, learning English and taking care of family. She enjoyed exercising, reading, and going out to eat with the family.
Her family deeply treasures the wonderful memories they’ve had together and are greatful that she lived a long, healthy life. Irene was loved by many who had the opportunity to meet her. She was caring, humorous, smart, bold, attentive, strong, and mindful. Irene made a meaningful impact to their lives and will be missed dearly by all.
