Yolanda Nicasio

January 26, 1935 – July 19, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yolanda N. Nicasio on July 19, 2017 at Vancouver, B.C.

Yolanda was born to Manuel & Estrella Nieva on January 26, 1935 in the Philippines. She was pre-deceased by Macario M. Nicasio, her loving husband for 60 years. She is being mourned and will be deeply missed by her five daughters and their families: Maria & Ramon Marfori, Maravilla & Christopher Hughes, Mariam & Paul Torres, Melita & Ralph Alphonse Soriano, and Ma. Lourdes & Lennon Limcangco. She left behind numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren including her siblings: Divinia (Agripino +), Evelyn (Cocoy +), Carina, Elizabeth (Rafael), Rosario (Miguel), Maria (Bernardo), Romeo (Victoria). Since coming to Vancouver, Yolanda & her husband were active members of Couples for Christ. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary and was very devoted in attending church services at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Yolanda will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those who she touched through her social activities.

All are welcome at a celebration of life to be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6350 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver BC, which will be celebrated by Reverend Terry Bileski.
