Yuet Keong Peter Tong

August 15, 1933 to September 15, 2023

Yuet Keong passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 15th. We are grateful that he was surrounded by family.

Yuet Keong was predeceased by his loving wife, Shui Quen and is survived by his children Ben (Phyllis), Amy, Annette (Edmond), Janet (Thomas) and his seven grandchildren, Trevor, Brendan, Emily, Alexandra, Samantha, Andrew and Erika. In addition, Yuet Keong is survived by his sister, Yat Mui Tong and sister in-law, Choi Luen Hon and his many nephews and nieces.

Yuet Keong will be remembered for his wisdom, warmth, encouragement, and strength and will be greatly missed and forever loved by family and friends. He taught us to always be positive and draw strength from family.

A Visitation will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on October 2, 2023 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby BC on October 3, 2023 at 1:15 pm.

For those sending flowers, please have them delivered to Forest Lawn Funeral home on Oct 2, 2023 before 2 pm. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Tong family.
