Yvonne Edith Marie Doucette

Our beloved mother was born in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan and passed away at the Residences of Belvedere, Coquitlam, B.C. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph (2001), granddaughter Denise (1976) and son-in-law Brian (2006). Mourning her loss are her 4 children Ann (Jeff), Penny/Josie (Jerry), Laurie (Lori) and Mary, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren 1 great great granddaughter, also her sister Simmie Smith and brother Howard (Joan) Wormell. Yvonne was a dedicated volunteer at Burnaby Hospital for 25 years, until the age of 90. She was also an active member of the Holy Cross C.W.L. for more an 40 years. Prayers will be offered at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6th. Rev. Jerald D'Souza's celebrant. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers in memory of Yvonne, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
