

Ada Faye was a strict single parent who had her reasons for being so. She was constantly working to provide for her children, always having at least two jobs.
Ada Faye is preceded in life by her parents, Otto and Annie Mae Alcorn, Brother James Alcorn, daughter Etta Mae (Sally) Laws, son William Donald Howington Sr. and grandchildren, Kyle Sterling and Jacob Hamill.
Ada Faye is survived by her daughters Letha Faye Sterling and husband Milton, Deborah Joyce Smiley, Anita Ann VanLandingham, son, William Don Howington Jr and wife, Carrie. Sisters, Velma Ruth Flynn and Margret Ann Gray. Faye was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank New Century Hospice and the caring staff and volunteers of Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care and kindness they showed mother to the end of her life’s journey.
A visitation for Ada Faye will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 E Polk St, Burnet, Texas 78611. Funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home and the burial to follow at Burnet City Cemetery, 1001 S Rhomberg St, Burnet, TX.
Pallbearers will be Christopher, Marcus, Lane, Cody, Zack and Eric. Honorary Pallbearers are Don, Kyle and Waylon.
Because of moms love for gardening the family request living plants in lieu of flowers.
