Alvis Davis, age 89 of Lampasas, Texas passed away at the Regal Nursing Home in Lampasas, Texas on June 27, 2012. She was born in Algarita, Texas on February 17, 1923 the daughter of Joe and Duria Roberds. She was a LVN for most of her life.
Alvis is survived by her son Hugh Davis and wife, Trudy of Kempner, Texas and son-in-law Russell Holmes of Burnet, Texas. Sisters, Ona Cullum and husband Jack of Burnet, Texas and Dona Mullins of San Saba, Texas. She has four grandchildren Russell Homes Jr. and wife Jamie of Burnet, Texas, Amy Footit and husband Michael of Burnet, Texas, Chuck Ashby and wife Freya of Rowlett, Texas and Robert Ashby and wife Holley of Arlington, Texas and 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Davis, daughter, Twanna Holmes, granddaughter, Lori Ann Davis and sisters, Nora and Nevert.
