Barbara was born in Burnet, Texas to parents, Lee Roy Bird and Dora Davenport Bird.
Barbara married Dorman Hunziker on May 17,1957 and together they spent 68 years together.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Lee Roy and Dora Bird, her husband Dorman Hunziker, and her son, Norman.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Glenda Davidson of Bertram, Sharon Nobles of Buchanan, Kathy and Doug Waechter of Burnet, Karen and Rick Spicer of Lexington Ky.,and son Robert Hunziker and partner Ricky of Lexington, Ky., along with 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Nadin Corley of Lake Victor and Ivy Watson of Oatmeal. Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held for Barbara on Monday January 12, 2026, from 5-7pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 13, 2026, at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
