i remember Barbara back in 2019 she subed at cedarpark house one day that afternoon she volunteer to take us to cici pizza in cedarpark before they moved to north Austin i think i personally thanked her she really didn't have to do it kindness from the heart she was very sweet lady  back then all three homes cedarpark went  to her funeral burnet tx not the cemetery r.i.p.barbara ann smith

Barbara was the best person in the world. She took such good care of my children Holli and Keegan Hyatt and my niece Ashley Couch.  She took such good care of every child that she cared for. She was the best for sure.  Heaven is gaining an angel.

We are so sorry for your loss but please know that your mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother touched the lives of so many.  Thank you for sharing her with us.

Barbara was the hardest working person. She worked 12a to 8a at a group home, however she also ran a very successful daycare. And often sub at other group homes. She was a  special lady,  loving ,caring  person who always had time for a friend. She will be missed . Love you Barbara.

She had a great heart and vibrant spirit about her. She made me feel welcomed. I remember she would give me advice on how to deal with parents that drive you crazy at times. She ran a daycare and understood that. She knew I worked in childcare as well and so I was appreciative for her input. She will definitely be missed. God bless you, Barbara! 

I will always remember Barbara as the sweetest of all the Wallaces and Smith. She seemed to always bring peace to everyone when they needed it. She had a heart of gold and would do Anything for you. I will definitely miss Barbara. It was an honor to know her.

I can’t believe Ms Barbara is gone. She was a wonderful woman, my grandsons Skylar, Stephen, Seth and Shaydon all loved Ms Barbara with the oldest one being 18 now. Sweet lady this grandma Tracy will never know a more carrying devoted Daycare owner, Teacher or friend to all that pass your doorway. So much love to you Miss Barbara May you finally get that much needed rest 💕😇🙏🏻💕

We are saddened to hear the passing of Barbara. She took such good care of my two sons when they were little. There was never a day when then didn’t want to go to Barbara’s house. To this day, I appreciate her special touch and she will always have a place in our hearts!  RIP Barbara
