Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Our brother Bobby was called by our heavenly Father on March 15, 2012. He was born August 21, 1953 in Burnet where he grew up playing little league baseball and attending school. He resided in Waco with his fiancée Esther. Bobby was a kind hearted, loving man who always had a joke and a smile for everyone. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family and friends. Bobby owned and operated his monument installation company in Central Texas and the Hill Country helping those in times of grief with compassion and dedication.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Vasquez SR., five brothers: Manuel, Rufus, Kelly, Juillan, Gilbert, and two sisters Virginia and Rosa.
He is survived by his son Robert (B.J.) Vasquez, Jr. fiancée Esther, daughters Jessica Sarah; sisters Toni, Lupe and Herlinda; brothers Fred, Tom, Mike, Ray and Santos. Also surviving are four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
Pallbearers serving are Bobby Vasquez, Jr., Rufus Vasquez III, Ricky Garcia, John Robert Carmona, Tim Hunziker and Felix Maura.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5 pm at Clements-Wilcox funeral home in Burnet TX.
A service will be held to celebrate the life of Bobby on Sunday March 18, 2012 with Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 pm at the chapel of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Christian Services will follow at 11:00 am Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Chapel of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Stickling Cemetery near Bertram.
