Bonnie Dean (Frank) Goble, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday August 6, 2021, surrounded by her family at her home in Burnet, Texas. She was born November 9, 1946, in Lampasas to Willie Frank and Laura Francis Jones Frank.
Bonnie lived in Adamsville and later graduated from Lampasas High School in 1965. She then moved to Austin where she attended Nixon-Clay Business College. In September 1966 she met Earl Goble, Jr. where they both worked for the Texas Employment Commission.
On April 14, 1967, Bonnie and Earl married and she later went to work at TxDot where she was employed until 1977 when she and Earl moved to the Burnet area. Bonnie worked at various jobs before going to work in the Engineering Department at Contel Telephone Company until the early 2000’s. She remained in the Burnet area until her death.
Bonnie loved to cook for family and friends and working in her yard and planting flowers. She loved her children and was an amazing mother, grandmother, and aunt. She loved her family more than anything else in the world and was always eager to help those in need.
Survivors include her daughters Elizabeth Lutes and husband Cass of Hye and Amy Goble Brizendine and husband Phillip of Burnet. Also surviving are grandchildren John Earl Frias and wife Marci of Edmond, Oklahoma and Emma Lutes and William Lutes, both of Hye, and sister Mary Smithwick of Lampasas. Bonnie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Her former husband and close friend Earl Goble, Jr. of Burnet also survives. Bonnie was preceded in death by her siblings Wayne Frank, Linda Frank Lancaster, and Benhart Frank, Sr.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 10 from 5-7 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 11 at 10 AM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with interment to follow at 1 PM at the Straley Cemetery in Adamsville.
