She was preceded in death by her son Chuck Jordan and great-granddaughter Brandy McCafferty. She is survived by her husband of 73 years Forrest W Jordan and her children, Forrest (M’Liss) Jordan, Martha (Tim) Rankin and John (Suzie) Jordan, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Katie lived a life of love with the greatest love of her life. She loved God and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a friend to many. She and Forrest started the AA Chapter (Brown Baggers) in Buchanan Dam. She was active and very blessed in AA for 40 years.
Memorial services will be Sunday, February 21 at 1pm at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, 8303 West RR 1431, Buchanan Dam, TX 78609. In lieu of flowers, please donate to AA or Highland Lakes UMC.
