

ArranCecil Earl Clopton, 35, of Bertram passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. He was born on November 26, 1975 to Kelly and Joyce Clopton in Georgetown, Texas. Cecil meant a lot to many people in the community and was a very loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Many people knew him from his days spent at Minuteman Rentals where he worked for 10 years and was considered a member of their family. Those that knew him best will remember his love for his family, motorcycle and video games. After graduating from Leander High School in 1994 Cecil moved to Bertram where he met the love of his life Jenny Warwick Clopton. They married October 10, 1998 and spent 12 wonderful years together. Along the way they were blessed with a daughter, Mallorie Mae Clopton, who turned three on Monday, February 21. Cecil’s love for his family was unmatched and he was the type of guy you knew you could count on. He will truly be missed by many. Cecil is survived by his wife Jenny Clopton and their daughter Mallorie. Also by his parents Kelly and Joyce Clopton of Elgin, and one sister Janet and brother-in-law Steven along with their children Ash, Vera, Ashten, Hannah, and Julian also of Elgin. Cecil will also be missed by his brother-in-law Charlie Warwick and wife Rebecca along with their children Ryan and Baylee; sister-in-law Monica Craig and husband Wayne, along with their children Jathan, Jes, and Jayci; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Willie and Shirley Hickman all of Burnet, as well as many other relatives and friends all over the Hill Country. Cecil was preceded in death by one brother Dennis Clopton, four Grandparents Mable and OD Clopton, Earl and Alpha Mae Stewart, and father-in-law Butch Warwick. Services for Cecil were held Wednesday morning February 23 at Clements-Wilcox funeral home in Burnet and burial followed at the Oatmeal Cemetery.
