Clifford Louis Lambert Jr.

Clifford Louis “Cliff” Lambert, Jr. age 83 of McKinney passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. He was born December 28, 1930, in Kempner, Lampasas County, Texas to parents Clifford Louis Lambert, Sr. and Voyce Gilbreath Lambert.

He was a graduate of Lampasas High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955 attaining the rank of Sergeant. He married Patricia Ann “Pat” Davis August 18, 1960.

Cliff was a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois and was employed as a Research Chemist at Jefferson Chemical Company in Austin. He retired from Texaco Chemical Company in 1987. Cliff and Pat were former residents of Belton, Georgetown, and Austin before retiring to Lake Buchanan in 1999.

Cliff is survived by his son Daniel Lambert of Plano, daughter Deborah Becker of The Woodlands, brother James “Jimmy” Lambert of Lawton, Oklahoma, and sister Catherine Gilley of Kingwood. Also surviving are grandchildren Brian Becker, Ben Becker, Kyle Becker, Bill Becker, Brianna Lambert, Joshua Lambert, and Bruce Becker. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife Pat in 2005 and his first son Stephen Andrew Lambert in 1963.

A graveside service for Cliff will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet officiated by John Osborne.
