I’ll never forget when Angie and TJ lived right next to us in Thorndale and we lived right next to a corn field and Me, Cody, Cory and Rissa thought it would be cool to watch Jeepers Creepers at night time, so we all piled up on the pull out couch together, even though there was barely room for all of us. we were piled on top of each other and we would all scream every time Jeepers Creepers popped up and Cory and Cody would scare me and  Rissa.  Also every time you would text me and we could talk for hours about any and everything.❤️ You and Cory will always be loved and missed by everyone Cody. Give Cory a big hug for us. Rest in Heaven bubba.💙

Cody Shane I am so glad that I got to grow up with you. I remember all the times we went over to grandma and papa’s and you me and Kelsey would go to the back and start using papa’s junk to build cars. I’m going to miss you getting mad at me when I would make you turn your necklace around so when I came around, you just automatically knew to check. You had an amazing sense of humor and always knew how to make us laugh. It’s hard to believe your gone when just last weekend you were here telling me that we’re cousins and that your always going to have my back. Even though your gone I know that you will still stand by your words. I know that you and Cory will look after us all. Don’t forget to give him a hug for me. I love you bubba

I am sorry for your loss. Deeply saddened by the loss of a good friend. I remember the first time meeting Cody 5 years ago on an online video game. He was full of laughter and that's what made me want to get to know him more. Cody was such a nice person. Ever since that first day, we became great friends. I can't believe he's gone. I wish I had the right words to comfort you. Cody will be missed. I love you man, rest easy buddy. 

Cody you will be greatly missed . Ill always remember  no matter how serious or dangerous the situation was you would always laugh about it or make a joke. Even when angie or tj would be yelling at you and telling you to do something, you would just laugh and make a joke about not doing it or tell  them to tell cory to do it . That would always give me a great laugh.Cory and i always gave you a hard time but it was because we loved you ,. Believe me  you got us back in your own ways either it was telling angie that we did something or chasing us around while you were naked but either way you definitely won those .You will never be forgoten big guy,Say hi to cory for me . Rest in Peace brother.

I will never forget the one time Cory and Aaron gave Cody a grape soda and pretended to put beer in it when we were like 13; they kept asking Cody Shane “are you drunk”? And he said yea & started to pretend to stubble and everything when we all knew it was grape soda. It’s a memory that will last with me forever❤️ I love you so much Cody Shane and you were so full of life & had so much still left to do here with us. But your in heaven now so watch upon all of us especially your momma, daddy & rissa. Give Cory a big ole hug from us all I will truly miss and love you❤️

I remember me and Clarissa were in 7th grade and had our first boyfriend who happened to be best friends. We were upstairs in Tj and Angie’s house in thornedale getting ready when Kenneth’s mom brought over him and Kasey, and all a sudden we noticed Cody was standing in the window naked waving at them and blowing them kisses. When Kenneth’s mom left, we were all getting ready to go to kaseys to ride four wheelers when Cody started chasing the boys naked and they were running around outside until Angie had to get after him. 

Our Baby boy Cody Amstead,  we miss you more then words can ever express just like we miss your brother Cory.  We know y'all are together that only thing that makes dad and Clarissa and I feel better. 💔Other then that we're broken.  We love you and miss you so much Cody and Cory!!  We have 2 of the most Amazing boys and God is taking care of y'all until we can all be together again. We Love y'all so much!!  Rest In Peace Cody and Cory❤ Love,  mom,  dad and Clarissa. 

Cody I want you to know that I’m gonna miss you so much. They way you laughed, the funny things you said that made us laugh and your beautiful smile. But most of all your big heart. You always cared about everyone. I want to say thank you for always talking to me when I needed someone to talk to. I love you so much always and forever.

I have millions of memories with my brother, and I can’t just choose one because anyday with Cody was the best. Growing up with him he was always a pain in Cory and I’s butt, he would constantly tell on us because he was mamas baby boy. As we got older Cory, Cody, and I were best friends, not a normal sibling relationship. The best gift I have recieved in life is my brothers, and I plan on living life for them both. It is certainly true when they say God always takes the best ones first. I’m thankful for 20 years of memories with them both although it certainly wasn’t enough. Cody’s heart was certainly big and he made everyone smile around him and we will all miss him dearly. ❤️ John 2:10

I remember going over to Aunt Kathy & Uncle Roger’s Land and Cody running around stirring up trouble with the girls. He would come and antagonize us while we were playing house or doing girl stuff. He would try to chase us with bugs or run after us after he had just gotten through playing in the mud. He was to date, the cutest little boy when he was younger. Missing teeth and all! Once we got older and got cell phone, Cody never failed to reach out to us. Especially after Cory passed away. He loved his family and never ceased to try to get us all back together. It’s no wonder his heart was so big, it was filled with the love of his family and friends. We will all miss him dearly. 

I cant imagine what  your famìly is going through.I just wanted you to know im praying for your family.I pray the lord keeps his arms around your family and give you peace.
