Daniel Wayne McClinton

He grew up in Austin and in the Hill country. He graduated from Burnet High School in 2008. He had a lifelong dream of being in the military, but wasn’t able to join because he had diabetes. He had a love for animals; he was a volunteer firefighter, volunteered at numerous church events. Daniel also had a love for country music.

As the 2nd eldest of 7 children, he was considered to be the most hard headed at times, but had the softest of hearts.

Daniel is survived by his dad and stepmother Jay and Troye McClinton, mom Sherry Landrum, brothers Kelly, Lance, Cody, Joshua and Cal; sister Cortney, grandparents Hollis Wayne McClinton, Kyle and Mary Smith-Skaggs, Oma Stephens. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews.

Daniel will forever be remembered for his generous, loving soul and the joy he spent with his family and friends. His friends and family will miss him dearly.

Memorial service will be 10:00 am Tuesday May 27, 2014 at ACTS Church in Buchanan Dam.
