

Dollie was a devoted loving wife and a stay-at-home mother to her children, who she loved along with her grandchildren. Dollie met her husband of 51 years at a carnival. They were married on July 23, 1950, and had 4 children in the next 8 years. She was also an Air Force wife for 22 years and they lived in San Antonio for most of that time. When her husband retired from the Air Force, they moved the family to Burnet in the summer of 1972. Together they built and enjoyed a great life on their ranch. Dollie was a faithful church member; and loved serving the Lord. Dollie was saved at a young age and taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She was at this time, a member of Victory Baptist Church in Burnet. As a loving and devoted mother, taking car of her family was her greatest and a full-time job, she did love to sew and was very good at it.
Dollie is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, her husband, William Douglas Warden, two sons, Danny Warden and Willy Warden, her son in law Gary L. Pierce and daughter in law Mary Warden. Along with her sister Louise (Hyman) Skidmore, and 4 brothers Theron (Ticky) Hyman, Kenneth Hyman, JT Hyman, and Billy Hyman.
Dollie is survived by her son Tommy Warden and his wife Peggy, grandson Adam Warden and wife Vicki, and great granddaughter, Kayla Michelle. Her daughter Vickie (Warden) Pierce, granddaughter Chloe Pierce and her partner Matt, her great grandsons Brandy and Chase and her grandson Ethan Pierce and her sister n law Bonnie Hyman.
Dollie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on March 7, 2025, at 2:00pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas.
