Visitation and Rosary at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Burnet on October 27th from 5:00pm -7:00pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Marble Falls on October 28th at 10:00am with Reverend Pedro Garcia-Ramirez officiating.
Burial interment October 30th at 9:00am at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen.
Frank was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada to Amos J Tipton and Marie Francis (Charbonneau) Tipton on June 9, 1955. He went to high school at Xenia High School, OH, and graduated in 1973. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in systems management from Webster University. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1996 and continued to work as a government contractor until his full retirement in 2017. His life was a life of giving to his family, church, and volunteering at multiple organizations. He spent over 20 years in youth ministry fostering his Catholic faith to teens. At St. John the Evangelist church he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13255, taught Confirmation classes and was an usher. He was a tireless volunteer at LACare of Burnet and Eagles Wings Retreat Center. Frank loved the outdoors and traveling.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Tipton and Marie Tipton and an infant brother Paul Tipton.
Frank is survived by his wife, Angie of Burnet, son Jason Tipton of Bloomington, IN, daughters Amanda (Justin) Cleveland of Salt Lake City, UT, and Allison (Tyler) Guajardo of Missouri City, TX. Brothers Gerry and Bruce Tipton and sisters, Jennifer Tumey and Michele Tipton. Three grandchildren that he adored, Macie and Grant Cleveland and Aurora Rose Guajardo. He has multiple nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fisher House, LACare of Burnet (POB 1115, Burnet,TX 78611) or Eagles Wings Retreat Center.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers and support from our family, friends and everyone we encountered throughout this journey.
