Garry Ray Littlepage

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Garry Ray Littlepage, 48, of Burnet passed away peacefully at his home October 5, 2014, with his family present. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer.

Garry was born December 1, 1965, in Mineral Wells and resided in Burnet for the past 42 years, having moved from Mineral Wells in 1972 with the family. He graduated from Burnet High School in 1983 and attended Texas State Technical College in Waco. He served one term as a US Navy member where he was a Seaman First Class. He was an active and beloved Texas Mason.

Garry assumed the family business of Loftis Auto Service of Burnet from 2005-2014 as President and Owner. He grew up in Burnet, a proud son of Tommy and Rita Loftis. As a young man, he learned to work on cars from his father who established the family business, a local mechanic's shop. As he grew older, he began to take over many of the shops duties from his father, whose deteriorating health had left him in charge of the family business.

After the death of his father, Garry at the young age of 39, took over the auto shop full time, where he worked hard at being a worthy and contributing member of his community. His success in business can be directly attributed to his work ethic and his natural mechanical ability. Garry took pride in caring for the families of our community. He touched the hearts of many and was a true blessing to all who knew him. Garry was a Texas Mason from June 2009 to his passing, becoming Past Master of Saratoga Masonic Lodge 546 of Lampasas and of Lake Victor Masonic Lodge 1011. He served as a coach for Burnet Youth Football and of Burnet T-ball teams for his children. Garry loved riding his motorcycle, watching football, fishing, and playing golf with his friends and family.

Garry was the ultimate friend of the community…always prepared and making sure everyone else was taken care of and had what was needed.

Garry is survived by his wife Rachele Littlepage, his mother Rita Loftis, both of Burnet; daughters Ashley Gray of Burnet, and Morgan Hamilton of Fort Stockton; sons Kyle Littlepage of Bertram and Cody Littlepage of Round Rock; step-daughters Kara Joy, Tierni Crenshaw and Kiersten Crenshaw of Burnet, Anna Crenshaw of Mineral Wells; grandsons Dylan, Clayton, and Noah; granddaughters Kira, Cadence, Adelade, Bristol, and Kyria. Sister Annette Henderson of Mineral Wells, brothers Kenneth Littlepage of Arlington, Tommy Loftis of Bertram, Christopher Loftis of Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his Dad Tommy Loftis Sr, his grandparents, Lloyd K. Ennis and Earline J. Ennis; Norman Loftis and Patsy Loftis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and the memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, both at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Those named as honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Littlepage, Tommy Loftis, Jr., Clyde Pafford, Lamar Schooley, Greg Williams, Don Wilks, Jason Stafford, Bryan Porter, and Michael Bristow.
