Gordon E Mullen

Gordon leaves his wife of 63 years, Myrlene Peacock Mullen; his son Gordon P. Mullen and wife Jan; his daughter Julie Perry and husband Bill, and her children Shawn Mullen and wife Mandi, and daughter Brooke Julina Perry.

Gordon was born and raised in Bell County, TX. He was a veteran having served in the Korean War. After his military service, he continued to serve military men as a barber on Fort Hood TX for 29 years, and ultimately continued his barbering for a total of 52 years during his lifetime.

Gordon also enjoyed ranching part-time for many years. One of the highlights of his senior years was playing pool with friends at the Lions Club Park Senior Center in Killeen, TX. He spent many hours playing pool and enjoying his friendships there.

He will be missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX. The service will be officiated by Pastor Shawn Mullen of Burnet, TX, and Pastor Stan Taylor of Pelsor, AR.
