Juan Antonio Nandin III, lovingly known as Guero, gained his wings on February 4, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1995, in Austin, Texas, and raised in Bertram, Texas. He was the firstborn child of Juan Antonio Nandin Jr. and Consuelo Ann Nandin.
Juan was preceded in death by his father, Juan Antonio Nandin Jr.; his twin brothers, mommy and daddy’s angels; his grandmother, Erminia Medrano; and his great-grandfather, Ernest Garcia.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Consuelo Ann Nandin; his brother, Jonathan Daniel Nandin; his sister, Christina Michelle Nandin, and her husband, Ethan Ray Michael Thiels; his grandparents, Juan Antonio Nandin Sr. and wife JoAnn Nandin, and Jose Guadalupe Medrano Sr. and wife Filomina Medrano; along with countless tias, tios, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched.
If you had the pleasure of knowing the real Guero, then you knew how deeply he loved the people in his life. He was a true family man who carried immense respect and admiration for his parents. He would light up telling stories about his dad — about his strength, his character, and how much he wanted to follow in his footsteps. From his mother, whom he loved deeply, he learned the value of love, grace, and forgiveness — values he carried with him every day.
Guero never let anyone change who he was. His heart was as big as they come — the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Whether it was a ride, a meal, or simply a helping hand, he showed up for others no matter what he was facing in his own life.
A jack of all trades, Guero worked across the area in construction, building, road work, fuel running, and many different crews. He took pride in everything he did, especially the truck he poured his heart into fixing up. From the speakers to the rims to the lift kit, that truck was his pride and joy — a reflection of his dedication and personality.
Though quiet by nature, Guero was known by many and loved by all. He treasured time spent with friends and family and enjoyed every bit of company. Music was always part of his world — he kept it playing whenever he could and dreamed of becoming a DJ.
Guero will be remembered for his loyalty, his generosity, his work ethic, and the love he carried for the people around him. Anyone who knew him was touched by his presence, and his memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared.
