Natalie and family, my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your dear father. You can rest assured knowing you brought joy and comfort to him in his final days and years. I had the honor of working with both your father and mother at the State, and of course, with you, Natalie, at Dakota County. Leo, the reserved civil engineer and Janice, the fun-loving HR assistant, seemed as different as night and day, yet they were the perfect match! And you were the probation officer I would have wanted for my family members or friends, as you patiently and wisely navigated clients through the criminal justice system, mapping the road to a better life. Over the years, I witnessed your strong family as you endured the loss of young Patrick and Mary, of your sweet mother and now your father. The family photos you gathered are filled with smiles and love. May these memories of happier times bring you peace. 

Leo was such a good friend. We had 20 years of Airstreaming fun together with caravans,
And parties. We will always remember our good times together. Leo was a giver. He volunteered to cut the trees at the park.
He must have saved the park $50,000. With
All his free work. We will miss him so much.

Dear Natalie and Don,  Although I never met your father, they say an apple never falls far from the tree. That said, Leo raised a kind, intelligent, generous,  good heart and loving daughter! And I'm guessing he was a great and awesome dad and father. Natalie and family, you have my deepest sympathy. Leo was a man with exceptional knowledge. Could Repair & build almost anything. He was a perfectionist who insisted things were done right. If you knew Leo, you knew he always had a "grand plan".
