

Lori Campos, 55, of Bertram passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024, in Austin, after spending her last days surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was born May 29, 1968, in Burnet to Issac Jr. and Victoria Baladez. She was a lifelong resident of Bertram.
She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Holifield and husband Justin of Bertram, son Logan Campos and his wife Karina of Burnet, four grandchildren Ayden and Ethan Holifield, Mason and Khloe Campos, brothers and sister Raymond Baladez and his wife Radena of Bertram, John Baladez and his wife April of Bertram, sister Kaylynn Westbrook and partner Danny Marks of Burnet and many beloved cousins, nephews and nieces.
Lori graduated from Burnet High School in 1987. She married the love of her life, Everardo “Speedy” Campos, on May 30, 1987, a day after her Birthday and High School graduation. They were married for 29 years and shared many adventures and fun times together before he lost his battle with cancer on February 4, 2017. Lori worked many years for Burnet CISD in the food service department. She enjoyed serving the students throughout the years and always met them with a smile. She was very proud of her children and their spouses and shared that pride with everyone she met. Lori’s favorite title was Nana, it was obvious to all that her grandbabies were her pride and joy! She enjoyed taking them to ride around, shopping, cheering them on at sporting events and attending their school functions. Most people who met Lori would say she had an infectious smile. She loved spending time with her friends. She was always ready for an adventure from going shopping to going on trips to Colorado and Costa Rica. She will be greatly missed by many.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Speedy Campos, her brother Rudy Baladez, parents and grandparents.
Pallbearers are Jordan Westbrook, Tyler Baladez, Dustin Baladez, Ian Baladez, Cody Baladez and Blake Box. Honorary Pallbearers are Logan and Mason Campos, Justin, Ayden and Ethan Holifield.
A visitation will be held on January 25, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Clements-Wilcox in Burnet. Service on January 26, 2024, at 10:00am at Clements-Wilcox, burial to follow at Las Tres Maria’s Cemetery in Liberty Hill. A reception will be held at the Burnet County Fair Barn immediately following the burial.
