Maidee McMillon Walker

After her father graduated from Law School in Austin, the family moved back to Ft. Worth where Maidee attended All Saints’ Episcopal School from pre-K to 2nd grade (1951-1955). She continued attending school in Fort Worth until the 9th grade. Maidee went to Foxcroft School in Middleburg, VA. graduating in 1966. Thereafter, she attended Bradford Jr. College in Bradford, MA.

She was a very gifted, talented person and gregarious.

After school, she lived in Australia for about a year and a half. She then moved back to the Boston area and wrote a weekly column for the Boston Herald American.

While living and working in West Palm Beach, FL. she met Nicolas Head. They married in Ft. Worth in 1994. Then lived in Genoa, NY. until 2012, at which time they moved to Marble Falls.

Nicolas (Nic) passed away in 2018. Maidee continued to live in Marble Falls until her death.

Maidee was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving family includes her brother, Webb Walker III, sister-in-law, Michele Walker, and her nephew, Webb Walker IV.

The memorial service and inurnment will take place at 11 am Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Ft. Worth.
