Bob worked in various professions after he served in the Army. Most recently, he was a Teachers Aid at the Gold Center in the Round Rock School District. His favorite hobby was participating in various flea markets in Central Texas.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 22 years Peggy Smith. He is survived by his son Robert B. Smith and his wife Anne of Round Rock, Tx; his daughter Melissa A. Brookner and her husband Jeff of Allen, Tx; and his grandchildren Zach and Josh Brookner also of Allen, Tx.
