

Born 8/21/1924 and passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on 08-28-2010.
Ted was born in Houston Texas and was raised in Aransas Pass. He worked for Baker Oil Tools and traveled extensivly world wide. Of all his travels he liked Scotland the best. Ted was a veteran who was in the Infantry in the Invasion of Normandy during World War II. In 1999 Ted moved from Houston to the Hill Country to be close to family. At the time of his death, Ted resided at Country Oaks at Hamilton Creek Assisted Living in Burnet, Texas. He is survived by 3 children: Madeline Jordan Lewis of Bertram, Tx and son in law Ronnie Lewis, David Jordan of Round Mountain, Tx and daughter in law Sue Jordan, and Shirley Jordan Benavides of Port Isabel, Tx. and son in law Felipe Benavides. He had 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ted is also survived by close friends, Maxine and Dan Gatlin and by many special friends at Claremont Assisted Living in Marble Falls, Texas. Ted was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bertram where a Memorial Service will be held on September 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Chris Bistline officiating.
