August 26, 1996 - May 9, 2016
Zane was born in Austin Texas and graduated from Burnet High School, Class of 2014. He very much enjoyed Baseball and Hockey. In 2011 he joined the Capital Area Young Marine of Austin and went to their boot camp and was involved with them a couple years. Following high school he joined the Marine Corp, 8 weeks later he was discharged for medical reasons. Zane on May, 16th 2015 he joined his journey of life with Priscilla M, Dixon, on Dec, 17th 2015 they brought a beautiful life into this world, Kaysen Havily Dixon. Zane decided he wanted to be a Firefighter and attended ACC Fire Academy and graduated December of 2015.
On May 4, 2016 he was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was about a block away from home when struck from behind while stopped to make a left hand turn. After putting up a good fight 5 days later he lost his life, leaving behind a wife and a 5 month old baby girl, and a loving mother and father. Being the selfless person he was Zane had previously signed up to be an organ donor, through this he was able to save 4, other lives through his organ donation.
Zane was someone that is impossible not to love and you only come across people like him once in a lifetime. He would always put others first and wanted to help others no matter what. If someone were to ask you to say one good thing about him it would be nearly impossible because there wasn't just one thing that stood out, there was many. Weather you got to be a part of his life for a week, month, or 5 years he would have impacted your life in some way. He would always say he wanted to live a life that would make him unforgettable and impact many lives, and that he definitely succeeded. If you were in the same room as Zane you would know, he had a presence that was unexplainable. His smile is completely unforgettable.
Leaving behind his wife Priscilla Dixon, 5 month old baby girl Kaysen Dixon, loving mother Nicole Barnes, father Ronn Dixon, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many loved ones. He may be gone but will never be forgotten; God received an amazing angel May 9, 2016.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday May 18 at 11:00 am at Hill Country Fellowship.
