Phil met and married Dodie in Riverside, California where they had 6 children before moving to the Intermountain area in 1962 where he started Dabill Construction. Phil enjoyed working in wood and the construction of many houses in the area. His biggest earthly pleasure was to spend time with family and friends; taking his family and friends to the Fall River Dam to water ski and spending time playing music. He loved to travel with Dodie in their motor home to visit family. The past year Phil spent time in his shop making bird houses for his loved ones.
Phil and Dodie attended many churches throughout the years in the Intermountain area where they met numerous friends. Phil loved music and on trips the family would sing gospel and country songs. He always had a song in his heart.
He is survived by wife Dodie of 56 years and his children: daughter Mary and husband Jose Sanchez of McArthur, son Dan and wife Wendy of Redding, daughter Liz of McArthur, daughter Rachel and husband Richard of Wheatland, California. He has 26 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Daughter Linda Dabill and son Philip Dabill Jr. preceded him in death.
He will sincerely be missed.
