Carol Sturgess-Herp, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Sturgess; brother, Ted Brummel; sister-in-law, Kathy Brummel. She is survived by her husband, Bob Herp; children Michelle (Jeff) Schaumann, Mary Born, Don (Tami) Sturgess, Mandy Herp, Mike Herp (Susie Schmader); 31 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers Larry (Esther) Brummel and Marv (Sandy) Brummel; sister-in-law, Mary Brummel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 4125 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Carol, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
