Charlotte Fein, age 79 of North Dorr, went to be with the Lord peacefully in her home Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Marie Irish and her brother, Benjamin Irish. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard “Dick”; their children John (Amy) Fein, Mark (Etelvina) Fein, Melissa Garlough, and Cindy (Andrew) Krumlauf; 14 grandchildren Parker, Anna, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Adam, Lorelai, Abigail, Ellie, Gianna, Faustina, Agnes, Charlotte, Hendrix, and Jacinta; siblings James (Ruth) Irish, Mary Powers, Joyce Mabie, Harvey (Diana) Irish, and Patrick (Karen) Irish; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Charlotte was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Visitation Parish and very involved in church activities. Her lifetime passions were her family, gardening, and preparing Sunday dinners and desserts. She graced the Fein Family Centennial Farm with her many beloved flowers.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Church, 2459 146th Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Fr. Derda Celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:30 p.m. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresbyron.com in their online guestbook.
