Cynthia Joy (Bronner) Kawka, age 68, died August 14, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Eltha and Wilson Bronner and her sisters Lois (Vern) Robar and Noreen Mulligan. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Kawka and her brother, Ron (Diane) Bronner of Colorado Springs, CO.
Cindy was a woman of many gifts. She was a creative artist, making cards for all occasions, scrapbooking, taking pictures, and baking her famous rolls and pies. She often donated her time to clean apartments for elderly residents. She loved camping and traveling the states. A faith-filled person, Cindy was very active in her church, serving as secretary and being on their board. There was no end to her generosity. When someone needed a hug, she was there.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Keith Bergquist officiating.
