James Robinson, age 94, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Meade and Nellie Robinson and son-in-law, David Salyers. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Shurley; daughter, Valerie Salyer; Valerie's children Justin and Taylor Salyers; son, Keith (Tami) Robinson; Keith’s children Alyssa Robinson, Jennifer (Steve) Hogue; daughter, Karin (Steve) Schultz; Karin’s children Stephanie (Joshua) Jacobs.
James was an Air Force veteran. James received his law degree at Ohio Northern University and practiced law in the state of Ohio. He retired, after 32 years, from the US Bankruptcy Court in Grand Rapids, at the age of 84. He enjoyed golf and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, but most of all, he loved his family.
A private family service will be held at Winchester Cemetery.
In honor of James, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
