Kay was a cherished friend for 55 years. High school days, band,
slumber parties, etc. were all the more lively with Kay's sense of
humor.
We were bridesmaids for each other and continued to enjoy those years. Much later though miles apart we also met Harry and our occasional times together remained fun and sweet. She will be dearly missed!

I became fast friends with Kay when she and Harry and the boys moved into Kenowa Hills. We were also new to the district and our kids went to school together. We participated at school functions together frequently. We used to walk the neighborhood and talk and laugh so much. In recent years I was able to join Kay and another friend for a monthly lunch. I will miss her very much and her fantastic spirit and humor. She was a great lady.

We camped with Harry and Kay at VIP RV LaFeria RV park in LaFeria, TX for many years. They were our neighbors our 1st year there. Always loved seeing Kay and Harry. When we first started going to TX we had a group of about 15 who all graduated in 1969. Rest in Peace Kay. Your friends, Lynn and Loren.

I am so sad to see Kay passed away. I met her and Harry in LaFeria, TX where we stayed at the same RV park. It was interesting to find that we only lived 30 miles apart in Michigan. She was a fun and funny lady. My heart goes out to her family and friends. One last cheer to you Kay.

I was Kay's sister-in-law when she was married to my brother, Steve. I always enjoyed Kay's company - she was so much fun to be around! Also she was very thoughtful. When I was a freshman at Missouri University in Columbia, MO and was homesick, Kay brought me a care package full of goodies - I will never forget that act of kindness. My husband, Amir, also really liked Kay. She welcomed him into our family with open arms when we got married, and he always enjoyed her company very much. In recent years, we were not in contact often with Kay - just the occasional Christmas card exchange. But Kay has, and always will have, a special place in my heart. Rest in peace, sister.
Love,
Ellen

To Kay’s family,
I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of your mom, grandmommy and my dear friend. Kay was funny, smart and just great to be with. I will miss our lunches and the lively conversations, especially those about politics! She will be missed beyond measure.
