Lola Diane Carpenter, of Byron Center, Michigan passed away at the age of 85 on Tuesday, December 23. Mom was a person who loved to sing and could be heard humming as she approached. She enjoyed being around family and friends, playing cards and games, reading, and doing word searches and jigsaw puzzles. She will be truly missed.
She was born on September 24, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a dear wife to the late Robert A Carpenter and dear daughter to the late M. Evelyena Mason and fathers, Leslie J. Million and Edwin P. Mason. Survivors include her children; Kelly (Eric) Olsen, Sheri Bush, and Robert (Jammie) Carpenter. Grandma to 11 and Great-Grandma to 16.
A memorial will be scheduled for the new year when Mom is brought home to Missouri to be with her husband.
