Marie Therese Marlett

Marie graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1957. She started her career as an operator at the phone company for Michigan Bell. She spent the rest of her career providing administrative services for several companies, most notably Kennedy Research / Wirthlin Worldwide where she made several lifelong friends. She was known to arrive to the office early and have the coffee made and the sidewalks shoveled for the arrival of her coworkers. She was a devout Catholic who spent many hours volunteering at her church. Marie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading every book under the sun, working puzzles, and talking about anything and everything.

She is survived by her three children Chris (Gary) Patulski, Cindi (Matt) Larobardiere, and Dan Marlett; beloved grandchildren Aubrey and Thomas Larobardiere, and Rowan Marlett; sister, Shirley (Jim) Anderson; sister-in-law, Barb Haslem; and her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at St. Sebastian Historical Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with an hour of visitation prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice or Sunset Legacy Foundation (Sunset Manor in Jenison) who both provided her with excellent care.
