Marilyn Yvonne Nelson, age 82 of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord Monday, September 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents Clarence and Joyce Monroe; stepfather, Guy Monroe; brothers Ronald, Kenneth, and Gary Monroe; and sisters Rosemary Beerbower and Janette McCarley.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Kenneth (Shari) Nelson, Timothy Nelson, Todd Nelson; and daughter Rose (Dale) Peters. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Zachary (Sadie) Nelson, Mitchell Nelson and fiancée Rachael Hall, Galen, Jonson, and Kahri Nelson, Nicole, Tyler, and Ashlyn Nelson; great-granddaughters Luella and Rylee Nelson; brothers Marvin Monroe, Jack Monroe; and sister, Linda Adamick.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Grand Rapids First (2100 44th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519), with a time for visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
