Meaghan Marie Ibanez, age 43, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 27, 2023. She was born September 9, 1980 to Carolyn Bieber and Alvaro Ibanez. Meaghan lived an adventurous life. Growing up, Meaghan spent time living in numerous states before settling in Michigan. She is survived by her son, Tristen Butler; fiancé, Stephen Miller; mother, Carolyn Bieber (John DeGuise); brother, Luis Ibanez; and numerous other family members and friends. Her canine companion, Oliver, was held near and dear to her heart, often joining her and Stephen on their adventures.
Meaghan was a beacon of joy in life to those around her. She will be remembered for her generous love of her friends and family. She was kind, loyal, and brave to the very end. She will be missed dearly. Until we meet again.
A celebration of life gathering will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center (2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, Michigan), with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
