Steve L. Hibbitts, age 51, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He will be remembered for his huge heart for helping others, the nicknames he gave everyone, always making people laugh, and his love for boating, snowmobiling, and anything else that burns fuel.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Tami Hibbitts; sons Dalton, Wyatt, and Trenton; granddaughter Marlayna Romaine; parents Delmar “Bugs” and Sandy Hibbitts; siblings Laurie (Brian) Teunissen, Kimmy (Rick) Perry, Greg (Candi) Hibbitts; cousin, Christy (Jeff) Bylsma; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with Steve’s family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home (2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, 49315). Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Corinth Reformed Church (129 100th St. SE, Byron Center, 49315).
