On November 26, 2024, Sue Woudstra joined her parents Bill and Ellen Stegenga; brother, Jim Stegenga; and father and mother-in-law Ray and Betty Woudstra in Heaven. Sue was the kindest to any and all whom she encountered. She valued positivity and compassion as the highest super powers one could have. Sue had many passions and hobbies including photography, scrapbooking, baking, cooking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her true love of 59 years, Bob Woudstra; children Shelly Cassell, Mark (Beth) Woudstra; grandchildren Brendan (Emily), Kaitlin, Bryce, Maddie and Abigail.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at Kentwood Community Church, 1200 60th St. SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 with visitation from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Guests are requested to enter through door I. In memory of Sue and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
