Roberto Rodríguez Texidor

Con profundo dolor y gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de quien en vida fue Roberto Rodríguez Texidor, un querido esposo, gran padre. Nacido en Cabo Rojo. Roberto hombre dedicado, amoroso y trabajador hijo de Demetrio Rodríguez y Flora Rodriguez Texidor, con un total de 3 hermanos: Herman Rodriguez, Demetrio Rodriguez and Carlos Muñoz, falleció el 18 de julio de 2024 en Caguas, PR .

Le sobreviven su esposa Ramona Rodríguez y sus cuatro hijos, Aracelis (Robert) Flores, Roberto (Tewanda) Rodríguez Jr., Idania (Víctor) Malavé y David (Anabel) Rodríguez. Sus hermanos Franklin Rodríguez, Claribel Valentin, Louis Muñoz, Mirna Muñoz y Gladys Muñoz. Once nietos y catorce bisnietos con los que disfrutaba pasar el mayor tiempo posible, así como con sus numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Roberto trabajó duro para mantener a su familia y construirles un hogar en la sección Este de Nueva York de Brooklyn, Nueva York. Fue Capitán de Seguridad durante más de treinta años en el Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Una vez jubilado se mudó a Caguas, PR con su esposa.

Algunos de sus pasatiempos favoritos eran tocar la guitarra, pescar, pintar sobre lienzo y disfrutar de una buena taza de café.

It is with deep pain and great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Rodríguez Texidor, a dear husband and great father. Born in Cabo Rojo. Roberto, a dedicated, loving and hard-working man, son of Demetrio Rodríguez and Flora Rodriguez Texidor, with a total of 3 siblings: Herman Rodriguez, Demetrio Rodriguez and Carlos Muñoz, died on July 18, 2024 in Caguas, PR.

He is survived by his wife Ramona Rodríguez and his four children, Aracelis (Robert) Flores, Roberto (Tewanda) Rodríguez Jr., Idania (Víctor) Malavé and David (Anabel) Rodríguez. His siblings Franklin Rodríguez, Claribel Valentin, Louis Muñoz, Mirna Muñoz and Gladys Muñoz. Eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren with whom he enjoyed spending as much time as possible, as well as his numerous nieces and nephews.

Roberto worked hard to support his family and build them a home in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York. Captain He was Security for over thirty years at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Once retired he moved to Caguas, PR with his wife.

Some of his favorite hobbies were playing guitar, fishing, painting on canvas, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Burial: Monte Calvario Cemetery, Caguas PR at 10:30 am on July 22, 2024.
